What I’m working on now: Creating and publishing a Victorian-Era folklore book into Tiddlywiki format. I plan to publish this for free on my site. Will be the first of many planned.
Excellent article: How do we Ensure Religion is a Blessing, not a Curse. It talks about ways that various faiths have created ways to adjust their thinking based on new realities, which I really think is important. In Paganism, most of our lore was passed down verbally, and the thing about verbal folklore is that 1) it allows things to be forgotten when they are no longer relevant, and 2) it avoids the pitfall of thinking that anything that is written down is eternal Truth that will never change. But oral tradition is hard to receive in oral form unless you are related to a traditional storyteller. Today I think the internet can stand in for Oral tradition to an extent, inasmuch as traditional lore can be written down in a form that is not considered Sacred and unchangeable. also there are many books of new and ancient lore written by Pagans, but none of these is considered to be the One Everlasting Truth, and hopefully they never will be.

After thinking that I would never be able to work a standard job again because of my health, I have made a phenomenal recovery and acquired a full-time job working from home. This is wonderful, but it does seriously limit my production of yarn, rolags, and knitted items. What is in stock is still for sale, and if you want anything that isn’t there, please message me and I’ll make it special.
